OUR CONCEPT
Classic Indian spiced recipes with
a new contemporary look, representing the authentic
Indian tastes. The menu still retains some of the classic
authentic Indian dishes like the murg angara and the
murg tikkas from the north, the famous fisherman’s
curry the Johl from the south and the classic coconut
flavoured dishes from kerala
Emphasis on the variety of seafood
locally available i.e. fish, prawns, crabs, Cray fish,
smoked oysters etc, sample our own macchi naryail; fillets
of captain fish in a fragrantly spiced coconut sauce.
Sample our chilli crabs spiced with freshly ground whole
spices.
An amazing selection of various breads
and different aromatic basmati rice dishes. Innovative
desserts with the classic Indian flavours. Sample our
Dark Chocolate Kulfi and our classic Chocolate and Nuts
samosa.
With our delectable dishes goes the
concept of food presentation. This accentuates the true
Indian natural colours of greens, yellows and red. All
dishes are individually garnished and presented in style.
Not the usual brown dull gravy coloured dishes as found
in imitation Indian restaurants
Our well stocked wine room is worth
a visit. The selected and chosen wines available defeat
the theory that beer is the only alcoholic beverage
that should accompany spicy food.
We like the great sages and the mughal
gourmets believe that good food not only strengthens
the physique but also enriches the mind. Indian food
does not necessarily mean hot and spicy, it can be very
mildly flavoured, medium flavoured or highly spiced
